FAQ

What hours do you open?

We open from 5pm until 11pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays and from 12 noon on Fridays and Saturdays. Please check Facebook for event specific opening times on Sundays.

How do I find you?

Our entrance is located INSIDE Old Street tube station. From the tube, turn left onto the shopping concourse, our staircase is on the left, opposite Nincomsoup. If coming by car, you can get dropped off on the lay-by which is on the roundabout. Just ask your driver to stay on the inside lane from whichever direction you are coming from. The entrance point is directly under the huge digital advertising board.

Is there parking?

Unfortunately, we do not have any parking on site.

What is your door policy?

We operate a ‘Look 25’ policy and you may be asked for ID if you are lucky enough to look under 25. Please ensure that all guests have ID to avoid being turned away at the door. Please note that we operate bag searches on entry and do not allow external food and drink on site, although this can be kept for you to collect when you leave.

What should I wear?

Anything you like! We are a relaxed venue and want you to feel comfortable. However, please note that although the venue is fully covered and heated in winter, it is ultimately an outdoor site so it’s worth bringing a jacket or coat.

Do you have a cloakroom?

We’re working on this but don’t have one at present, apologies.

Do I need to make a booking?

We book tables/areas for groups of 6 or more and it’s always advisable to make a reservation if you plan to eat or would like to sit down. You can make a booking enquiry here (link to www.magicroundabout.co/bookings/). We do also keep a number of smaller tables for walk ins but please get here early.

Whom do I contact for lost property?

Please contact 07979 029 420 for any lost property enquiries. Please note that we keep items on site for a maximum of 1 month before donating to charity.

Are kids allowed on site?

Children are allowed in the venue with a guardian during the daytime but we do ask that any children are off site by 8pm as we tend to get pretty crowded later in the evening.

Is there disabled access?

Yes. If coming by car then instruct your driver to use the lay-by on the roundabout. There is a back gate which brings you straight onto the site. Otherwise, use any of the ramp entrances into the station and locate the station lift next to Nicomsoup. We have disabled toilets on site. To make any advance arrangements please call 07949 029 420.

Am I allowed to bring my own alcohol /food?

Unfortunately not, however the site has three bars and three food traders offering kosher, veggie and vegan food so everyone is catered for.

Is there a smoking area?

During the summer we allow smoking around the majority of the venue. During winter, when the site is heated and covered, we have two smoking areas.

I want to put on an event, who do I speak to?

Please contact sarah@magicroundabout.co, giving as much detail as possible (dates, expected numbers, event type, etc).

Do you offer dry hire?

We work on minimum spends but occasionally a dry hire can be arranged. Please note that this would be outside of peak times and for exclusive use only.
